Shannon Flack is an acclaimed film and digital photographer based in the vibrant Washington DC area. Her journey into the world of concert photography began as a photography intern at the prestigious Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, where she honed her skills and passion for capturing the magic of live performances. This experience served as a catalyst for her to establish Shutter Up & Listen, an empowering platform that not only continues her path in the concert photography industry but also provides a safe and supportive space for women to thrive in the creative realm.

Shannon's exceptional talent has earned her recognition in esteemed publications such as The Washington Post, Consequence of Sound, and various other renowned media outlets. A graduate of James Madison University, she pursued her passion by studying studio art with a photography concentration and minoring in entrepreneurship. Her dedication and artistic excellence were rewarded with the prestigious Senior Achievement Award, a testament to her outstanding photographic work during her time at the university.
